The Panacea Care team includes consultants and medical professionals with decades of experience providing medical care in Ireland. The medical needs of Panacea Care members will always be met by an experienced, qualified and local Consultant in Emergency Care.
Dr Philip Darcy
Dr Darcy is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine. As Medical Director at Panacea Care, he ensures that all Panacea Care members receive the best medical care available.
Dr Darcy’s career spans many years and includes extensive experience in pre-hospital emergency care, as well as his roles:
in one of Dublin’s busiest Emergency Departments
as an Emergency Physician Responder for the National Ambulance Service & Dublin Fire Brigade
Medical Director Codeblue Events Department
Medical Director Codeblue Medical Centre
Dr Darcy qualified with an MBBS from the University of London. He completed his higher training in Emergency Medicine in Ireland and completed the first Fellowship in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine in Ireland.
He also has a particular interest in Clinical Toxicology and has been awarded a Master of Science Degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Toxicology. Dr Darcy has also been a member of the Medicine Advisory Committee of the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council of Ireland. He is also a member of the Irish Association of Emergency Medicine, the Irish Hospital Consultants Association and the Medical Protection Society.
Joe Keane
Joe is a qualified Client Relationship Manager with experience across multiple industries including Financial Services, Technology, Pharma, Commerce, and Industry. He joined Panacea Care to coordinate onboarding of new clients, building client relationships and ensuring clear lines of communication are established throughout the client engagement.
His career started in 2007 with a multinational consultancy company based in London. Following his success working within the external talent market he gained experience as a lead talent business partner for several global investment banks and consultancy firms in London and Dublin. He set up a search company in response to market demand for flexible solutions to the skills shortages across the financial services sector in London and Dublin and has expanded his remit and is now working on mandates worldwide, with success in EMEA, APAC and North America.
With a solutions-led, customer-centric approach and delivering a quality service based on honesty and integrity, Joe thrives on building client relationships and gathering knowledge and understanding of their objectives and needs.
Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Human Resources Management specialising in Human Resources from the National College of Ireland and is a member of the CIPD.
